Preparation / Instructions:
FOR LAUNDRY:
- Sprinkle approximately 1 heaped teaspoon (1 big tsp) of powder directly in the machine’s drum before adding the clothes, or add to a bucket of water and wear gloves if washing by hand.
Rinse well. - Optional: add a glass of Vinegar to the rinse cycle for a perfect finish. No smell will remain.
- Important: the amount of washing powder will vary depending on the machine type and how dirty the laundry is. It is important to allow for good agitation of the clothes (do not overload) and a good rinse (do not use too much washing powder). We suggest that you start with 1 heaped teaspoon (1 big tsp) and experiment with your machine and laundry until you find the ratio that works for you. Maximum 2 tablespoons (2 Tbsp) per load is recommended.
- Do not use too much washing powder! If the laundry is very dirty, it is more efficient to do a pre-soak in a bucket of warm water with 2 teaspoons (2 tsp) of powder, shake, wring out, rinse, and then do your normal wash.
- If your water is ‘hard’ (mineral-rich), add 2 teaspoons (2 tsp) of our natural Soda Ash to boost the washing powder’s effect.
FOR WASHING DISHES:
- Put 1 teaspoon (1 tsp) in the detergent container of your dishwasher.
- When washing dishes by hand, add half a teaspoon (1/2 tsp) to a sink or small basin of warm water. Soak for a few seconds or minutes, depending on how dirty the dishes are. Wear gloves. Scrub. Rinse with clean water.
- Add a dash of Vinegar in the rinse water for a perfect finish.
FOR SURFACES:
- Add 1 or 2 teaspoons (1-2 tsp) to a bucket of warm water and use with sponges, scrubs, mops. Clean as you would with any other product.
- Add a dash of Vinegar for a perfect finish or alternate with a vinegar wash depending on the surface and dirt.
